If you upload any Personal Information related to a third party (including Personal Information that is contained in Content), you represent and warrant to Us that you have the User’s consent or are otherwise permitted to share such Personal Information with Us.

2.1 User Information
In order to use certain Services, Users must have a valid Monetize account to log into the Monetize Platform (“Account”). When you register for an account, Monetize collects your account username and password in order to authenticate your account access and provide you with access to the Services. Monetize also collects: name, email address, and phone number. This Personal Information is used for the following purposes:
• Providing Users an account;
• Administering the Services;
• Advertising; and
• Allowing Content Owners to provide their content to Users by having access to this Personal Information
Monetize further collects from Content Owners: name, email address, business phone number, business address, phone number, business URL, Facebook URL, and Instagram URL. This information is used for the following purposes:
• Providing Users an account;
• Administering the Services;
• Allowing Content Owners to host their content on the Platform;
• Performing data analysis;
• Advertising; and
• Aggregating and analyzing sales data related to the sale of Content subscriptions for market research and to improve the Services.
In order to use Monetize’s Services, Users may be required to provide valid credit card information to enable Monetize to charge a Service Fee and Content Fee. Monetize Users hereby agree that all payments will be processed using Monetize’s third-party Payment Processor, Stripe, and that all such payments will be governed by the Payment Processor’s terms and conditions available at https://stripe.com/ca/legal or as otherwise published by the Payment Processor.
2.2 Users’ Activity Information
When Users use the Platform and Services, Monetize collects information about the User’s activity. In particular, Monetize keeps track of Content access and viewing history and transactions between Users. This Personal Information is used for the following purposes:
• To allow Users to keep track of their usage and transaction history;
• For Monetize’s accounting records;
• To customize User experience, including showing Users relevant content and advertisements; and
• To monitor compliance with our Terms of Service.
Content Owners use the Services to share Content, which may include Personal Information of third parties. Monetize stores this Personal Information as long as required by the User who has uploaded the Content.
2.3 Marketing Communications
Monetize may use the contact information provided to notify Users of important information that is relevant to the Services and for marketing communications if the User chooses to opt in. Despite your indicated e-mail preferences, we may send you relevant notices where permitted by law.
2.4 Usage Data
Monetize may also collect certain information from Users of the Platform, App, Website and Services, such as Internet addresses, time spent logged into the Services and other usage data (“Usage Data”). This Usage Data is logged to help diagnose technical problems, and to administer our Platform, App, Website and Services in order to constantly improve the quality of the Services.

MoneqtizeHQ also uses third-party ad companies, such as Facebook and Google to keep track of our web traffic. 3.1 Storage Location
Monetize provides the Services from Canada, stores its data, including Personal Information, on Hostineer servers located in the United States. By submitting any Personal Information or using the Services, you agree to this transfer, storing or processing of your Personal Information in the United States and Canada. You acknowledge and agree that your Personal Information may be accessible to law enforcement and governmental agencies in those countries under lawful access regimes or court order.
The security of your Personal Information is important to us. We use commercially reasonable efforts to store and maintain your Personal Information in a secure environment. We take technical, contractual, administrative, and physical security steps designed to protect Personal Information that you provide to us. We have implemented procedures designed to limit the dissemination of your Personal Information to only such designated staff as are reasonably necessary to carry out the stated purposes we have communicated to you.
You are also responsible for helping to protect the security of your Personal Information. For instance, never give out your email account information or password for the Services to third parties.

Upon receipt of your written request, we will provide you with a copy of your Personal Information, although in certain limited circumstances, and as permitted under law, we may not be able to make all relevant information available to you, such as where that information also pertains to another User. In such circumstances we will provide reasons for the denial to you upon request. We will endeavor to deal with all requests for access and modifications in a timely manner.
